Good News, Bad News

I got a call from the company in MN last night...first the bad news. I didn't get the job that I interviewed for, but I am being considered for a couple of other positions they have available. The guy I talked with last night is the manager for the other positions and he is the one who informed me that I didn't get the other job. Why couldn't the other manager call and tell me that himself? Anyway, the other positions both sound decent and I'll consider it a bit more once I get a chance to look over the job descriptions a bit more. They'll want me to go out for another interview before making their decision. I really need to get out of Raytheon...my knowledge is deteriorating more every year. I'll save that rant for another day. Anyway, the door is still open a crack...let's hope something will come of it.

Still waiting

I still haven't heard anything about the job in MN. I'm going to write them another email today hoping to get some indication of where things stand. It sure would be nice to know!

No news yet

I've been anxiously and somewhat patiently (at the same time if that's possible) waiting to hear about the interview I had almost two weeks ago. I emailed the office manager today just to politley ask what's going on. She informed me that the hiring manager was out sick for a few days and the HR person was also out and that everyone should be back on Monday. Hopefully I will hear something early next week. Its starting to drive me a little crazy not knowing. It seems as if our lives are on hold right now. Tina put the answer I got today this way: if they were going to turn me down, then anyone could make that phone call, but if they are going to hire me then they would need the manager and the HR person to get everythin together. She makes sense some times. :)
