I can't believe that our little Addie is 5 months old already! Where does the time go!? She is at a fun age. She still hasn't mastered her roll unless she is under her activity gym, when she uses it as leverage! She hates tummy time, what kid doesn't? She has finally taken to her swing, she just loves it. And I fear that she will outgrow it soon. She is on a pretty good nap schedule of a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon. She goes to bed around 7-7:30 and wakes up every 4-5 hours or so to eat. Can't seem to break her of that one... I am hoping that once the move to formula happens she will sleep longer (my goal with nursing her was 6 months, so we are almost there). I haven't slept through the night without getting up in over a year, so big deal right!? I am looking forward to that! We aren't starting solids until 6 months so we will deal with the night-time feedings for now.
Payton just LOVES her little "squirt". I tend to call Addison "baby girl" so Payton has taken to calling her "baby goo". Too cute. Yesterday morning Addison was waking up and of course Payton ran into her room (yes she is opening doors now) and streched her little arm into the crib. She smashes the bumper down to get to the baby. Anyway, she was yelling "Mumma come here! Mumma come and look at this kid!" Addison was just laughing and smiling away. The other day at daycare Addison was having a hard day and was crying a lot (she has a little cold). They brought Payton in to see her... she gave her a kiss, stuck her pacifier in her mouth and Addison just laughed and smiled away. Tell me that that isn't one of the sweetest things you have ever heard!? I wish I had been there to see it! She is a great big sister. Although at times she thinks that she knows what Addison needs more than I do! "NO mumma, she doesn't want that bouncy seat. She wants her swing!"
